Who we are

Wevdev is the software studio of Sabibur Rahman, based in Dinajpur, Bangladesh. You can reach us at info@wevdev.com.

What we collect

When you submit the contact form we collect your name, email address, and anything else you choose to tell us. We do not collect payment details through this website.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. Google Analytics only runs with cookies if you accept them (see Cookies below).

Our own visitor counter records which pages are opened with your IP address masked (the last part removed), and it sets no cookies.

How we use it

Only to reply to your enquiry and to carry out any work you engage us for. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list without your say-so.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the work. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email us and we will action it.

Newsletter from our WordPress plugins

Some of our free WordPress plugins (for example Swift Clone) offer an optional newsletter. You are only added if you tick the consent box and press Subscribe inside the plugin.

What we collect: your email address, which plugin you subscribed from, that plugin's version number, and the date and time you agreed to subscribe. We do not store your IP address with your subscription. Like most websites, our server may briefly record IP addresses in its logs and to prevent abuse (rate limiting); these are not linked to your subscription.

Why: to send you news about the plugin, such as updates, important fixes and occasional tips. Our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Where it is stored: in the database of our own website, wevdev.com, with our web hosting provider. Only we can access it. Each plugin's list is kept separately.

Never sold or shared: we do not sell, rent or share your email address with anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.

How to unsubscribe: you can unsubscribe at any time, using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email or by emailing us at info@wevdev.com. You are removed straight away. We keep a note that you unsubscribed so you are not added again by mistake.

How to request deletion: email info@wevdev.com from the subscribed address and we will delete everything we hold about you, including the unsubscribe note, within 30 days.

Cookies

Necessary cookies (always on): XSRF-TOKEN and wevdev-session are set by our own website for session handling and security. They keep forms (such as the contact form and newsletter sign-up) and sign-in working and protect them against forgery. The site cannot work properly without them, so they do not need your consent. They expire after about two hours of inactivity.

Analytics cookies (only after you accept): Google Analytics 4 sets _ga and _ga_* cookies, which we use to measure visits, such as which pages are viewed and how people find the site. They are only set if you press Accept in the cookie banner. The data is processed by Google, and the cookies are kept for up to 14 months. If you press Reject, no analytics cookies are set. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising.

How to change your choice: use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page to open the banner again and accept or reject analytics cookies. We will also ask again after six months.
